Dr. Pia Krone, Co-Founder and Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board
Pia Krone has been practicing corporate law in Berlin for the past 14 years. As an independent attorney, she has been specializing in legal advisory work for a variety of company transactions, corporate restructurings and start-up operations. She manages her own legal office and is a co-founder of Krone Management und Technologie GmbH & Co KG, a family-owned consulting company with a particular focus on small and medium-sized technology companies. Prior to this, Dr. Krone was involved in international investment banking in London with Lehman Brothers and Schroders plc as well as with JP Morgan Chase.
Dr. Jürgen Schumacher, Vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board
Jürgen Schumacher is an internationally recognized German entrepreneur. He is a co-founder of Qiagen AG the biggest German biotechnology company and principal founder of NewLab Bioquality AG which he sold to Charles River Laboratories International Inc. in 2008. In addition to a versatile involvement in industry associations and other organizations, Mr. Schumacher invests in start-up and growth phase technology companies with exceptional prospects and outstanding management.
Prof. Dr. Joachim Dudenhausen, FRCOG, Co-Founder and Member of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Dudenhausen holds a Senior Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical School, New York City. Until March 2010, he was for many years Head of the Obstetrics Clinics of the Charité in Berlin, which boasts more than 5000 births annually. He is an internationally recognized scientist with more than 500 publications and books. Since 1983, Dr. Dudenhausen has been Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Dudenhausen holds a multiplicity of national and international awards.
Mr. Wolfgang Jünger, Member of the Supervisory Board
Wolfgang Jünger is an entrepreneur, management consultant and investor. He has been a senior partner of a leading US consulting firm responsible for global small to mid-sized corporate finance transactions. Since then, he has held several management positions in business development and finances in industry, as well as engaging in own industrial investments in Asia.
